I haven't had a Dunkin Donut since 1981 because most of the places I've lived didn't have one. So as we were out on an evening drive just goofing off, the wife and I stopped to see what they had to offer. It was 8:03 PM on a Sunday night. We figured it'd be closed, but it was open 24/7! The sad part is they had almost no donuts! The only thing available were a couple of cake donuts (coconut chocolate and half chocolate/half sprinkles, so we got those. We picked up a bacon, egg and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel and a cream cheese on sesame bagel too. The bagels were awesome! Way more awesome than the bagel place we stopped at a few days before, and less than half the price! I was disappointed by the two, sad little bacon lumps, but overall it was fine. Found out I'm not a fan of cake donuts, so that wasn't cool. I'm used to eating the famous Round Rock donuts in Texas, so we'll have to try again when they have actual donuts. The coconut chocolate cake donut was very coconutty, but the cake part just dissolves into nothing and didn't seem to have a chocolate flavor. My wife didn't say much about the one she got either.

My sister and I actually drove down to the Springs solely to hit up Dunkin' Donuts. We were initially going to go to the other location, but it closes at noon. But the North Circle location? It's open 24 hours! Amazing! Delicious coffee, excellent donuts, and a friendly staff! Excellent all around. Okay, the only negative about the experience was the massive sugar rush that followed. Oops. Although it's certainly a trek from Denver, I'll be making a point of traveling south in search of the elusive DD in Colorado.

Ok, they just remodeled this DD and they totally neglected the parking lot. The spots are so tight and so few that parking here is a nightmare. The doughnuts are pretty good, but could use more filling on some of them. They ladies are quick and helpful but sometimes I feel rushed when I go in. This location does have a drive thru now, which also causes congestion in the parking lot.

Dear Dunkin Donuts, Why oh why do you have to be so far away from Denver? You cost me like $20.00 in gas to just get to you and not counting the other $20.00 to bring you home. Sometimes I wonder if you are worth it. Then I arrive look at your goodness and know I made the right decision. All the choices, plus now you serve breakfast including bagel twist and hash browns. Before I go everyone I know wants a part of you so I end up bringing back boxes and boxes to fellow people who love you. So I will continue to go whenever I can to visit you but just so you know you should move up here so we could be closer. Thanks Cris F.

It perplexes me why there is a dearth of Dunkin' Donuts in Denver, while there are several locations in the Springs. Nonetheless, my wife and I happened to spot this DD location while we were driving through, and decided to pick up some donuts and coffee. This location looks like it's been there for a long time. It's definitely not the most glamorous Dunkin' Donuts--you should see some of the locations overseas--but we weren't going to picky, given how scarce they are. Donuts and coffee were top notch, as always. Extra 0.5 stars for being open 24 hours!

I'm not sure what was done to this and the Colorado Blvd location in the last two years, whether it was the franchise buying old owners out or what, but the quality, cleanliness, friendliness, and decor have all vastly improved. The two Colorado Springs stores have both been remodeled in the last year and ever since then the quality of the donuts has gone up spectacularly. While still not my favorite donut chain, it's the best thing we have in town. They are soft and taste fresh. I really don't get the hype about their coffee, it's always been par for the course to me. Just be warned, they are god awfully slow during the morning rush. I pre-order donuts often times for all our work employees and they seem to lose the orders, can't fill them quickly, or have to fill them while I'm at the counter. We also dropped in after the Memorial Park Balloon launch and while it was super packed, they weren't doing themselves any favors to shorten the line. They could definitely use a better shift manager in the morning.

This location is soooo slow! And it seems like it could be a good idea for some happy lessons. This is my third time that I've had less than adequate experience here, so I decided to write a review. I wondered if all Dunkin' Donuts where this way, but I went to the new one on Austin Bluffs the other day, and it was great. This one however looks like it could use an overhaul, and by the other reviews, I'm not alone in my opinions. After standing around in line for five minutes, with no movement, I decided that breakfast somewhere else was going to be a better idea. I'm hoping the owner, or a manager sees this and some of the other reviews, and takes training to heart.

Depends on the crew and time of day how good the service is. There is a drive thru, which tends to move faster than going in. The inside and ordering counter is set up awkwardly and when the shop is crowded it's difficult to maneuver. I wouldn't plan on sitting up front & people watching on a Sunday morning. But.... Coffee has always been fresh and the crew is friendly despite the limitations they can't control.

Dunkin' Donuts, The fast food of the donut industry has finally gone off the tracks and the N. Circle location was the final brick in the wall for me. Maybe it was the slow service, the plastic generic tasting food or even the bumbling obese people lining up for their daily dose of donuts that did it for me, I'll never quite know but, I won't be back and that alone makes me happy. No bad feelings Dunkin' it's just there's way batter places (Amy's Donuts) that I'd rather go to and get my donut fix on. I bid you adieu Dunkin' I wish I could say it was better!

Never have I ever received good service from this location. Never fails, anytime that my husband or I have come here, that the associates have always been rude. The only reason we keep going to this location is because it's the closest for us. Thankfully the drinks and donuts are always good.

I have no idea what the draw is. Dunkin Donuts is anything but spectacular. The coffee seems to be a huge deal for so many from the east coast, I'm just not sure what they find so amazing about it... or the donuts. Service is slow and unimpressive, donuts are typically dry and tasteless. Thankfully many are frosted.

This location never actually has donuts! We have come by on several occasions at different times through out the day & have been let down. At one point the cashier after asking what kind of donuts they had simply said "none!" & chuckled proudly. I used to love these donuts, but have been let down.

Came here at 2:30am and was very disappointed at the lack of selection. Everything that they have on their menu, they didn't have available. The server was nice about it, but I couldn't help but wish I had just gone to a different donut shop.

This location has definitely had its share of down's. Yes, there may be times where their donuts are not perfect, I think they are still working on that, but hell, there have been times that I'm not perfect everyday and in every way. So be it. This location used to be rude, dirty, and overall not even on the scale for stars. Now, I proudly give it a 4 star rating due to their new management and knack for keeping me coming back. They are friendly, polite, clean...and yes, getting better on those wonderful donuts. Give em a try....again. And see if they are measuring up to our standards of what DD should be.

This place is packed every time I'm in there. The tables are sticky, there are napkins on the ground, and the parking lot is jam packed but you can count on your favorite donut being there and the coffee being quick and hot!

  • Marla C.

My last visit to the N. Circle location on 9/5/14 was not the best. The majority of the doughnut trays were empty or nearly empty and the half dozen doughnuts I purchased were all dry and stale tasting, which surprised me since this is a 24 hour location and it was a little after 4 pm when I was there. My drink order had been 'forgotten' and it wasn't filled until about 3 other customers came in and were served their beverages and food. It wasn't terribly busy, and I saw 4 people working, but there seemed to be a lack of direction, including the shift manager. What should have been a 5 minute order (inside the store) turned out to be closer to 25 minutes from start to finish. I'll be getting my sugar fix from somewhere else next time.

I love Dunkin.Donuts, but this place is so bad. The menu set up is awful. Seating fills up fast and people sit in the seats while they wait for their food to be made, taking up seats for people who actually want to eat in the store. The workers aren't friendly, they could care less about their jobs. And they don't pay attention to what you order. My husband asked for an onion bagel and got plain. I'll try the other one in town next time...

Dunkin' Donuts, as a whole, is not so good. Now, don't tell anyone east of the Mississippi this, ESPECIALLY someone directly on the east coast. They are rabidly pro-DD as I found out on a trip out there last year. It seems as though there is a Dunkin' Donuts shop on every street corner in Massachusetts. I actually walked through the parking lot at this DD in Colorado and there was a vehicle in the parking lot WITH a Massachusetts plate AND a bumper sticker proudly proclaiming the occupants of said vehicle to be "MASSHOLES"!!!!! I don't care much for the coffee here. It'll due in a pinch but it certainly is not the alpha nor the omega of coffee. It just does not have that. . that. . that taste. You know, when the coffee hits the back of your mouth??? I'll be honest, I cannot put a name to it, but I'm sure it's out there. Sometimes coffee has a nasty HARSH feel at the back of your mouth. Sometimes, it's pure HEAVEN. Then there is Dunkin' Donut's coffee, nuthin'. Absolutely nuthin'. On to the donuts. Not that great either. Not the worst donuts but no where near the pinnacle of greatness. They don't even have sour cream donuts. No sour cream? What the fudge? Speaking of fudge, the chocolate donuts just taste like sugar. The chocolate flavor is non existent. I did actually like the cheese twists, those were yummy! Each time I've stopped in, there is a new face at the register. Big turn over rate. However, the service is pretty quick. Although the store was completely redone, the black top seems as if they just resealed it and did not fix the ruts and such. I would like to add that I never come here of my own volition. This town needs a Tim Horton's. . and an enema.

I don't know what it was today but I had a nostalgic feeling when pulling up to DD (not to be confused your overweight grandmothers bra size). The Woman, 38 weeks preggers, saw a commercial on TV about Dunkin' Donuts and just had ONE OF THOSE CRAVINGS. Fast forward 10 minutes later, as we're struggling to figure out how to use my new Samsung GALAXY S II Epic 4G Touch navigation feature, we hit the road on our way to DD. We're excited about this venture...we're testing out a new little piece of technology, we're trying a new place in town, we're satisfying gestational cravings and we're out on our own without The Little One. Yes, that's it...that's the feeling we're experiencing...the feeling of freedom on the open road, the blissful feeling of quiet within the cabin of our SUV, and the feeling of security knowing The Little One is sleeping at home whilst The Grandparents are keeping watch. The navigation feature tells us to head south on Academy, west on Platte and then south again on Circle. We spot DD on the left and make the much anticipated left into the parking lot. A middle eastern family of three sits at a table by the window and watches us pull in. "Hello minority family!" I think as I pull in. I like this place already. As The Woman and I get out of the car, we chat about how DD is Open 24 hours a day. As silly as the thought is for a family of three with another one on the way, this perk excites us. Maybe The Woman will have a late night craving and send me on a mission for a glazed, red velvet or Boston cream donuts sometime, relinquishing me from the tedium of domestication. Maybe I can stop by a strip club on my way back and tell her traffic delayed me. Or stop by Walmart and peruse electronics I have no intent on buying. Ridiculous, improper and seedy thoughts jump happily through my mind. Back to reality. We order some donuts...original for me and some creamy glazed madness for The Woman. The original slides down easy enough but leaves something to be desired. I return to the counter and demand an iced coffee mocha...it's pure chocolate/coffee ecstasy for only $2.14! What a great deal! DD, I'll be seeing you later.

There is no Dunkin' Donuts in the Denver/Boulder area, so a group of friends and I trekked to Colorado Springs to score a few dozen donuts. They were delicious - almost perfect. And the store itself was great. Well staffed, efficient, plenty of seating and very clean.
